Kursus Cendawan Tiram Kelabu (KPD): Day Two (Part 2)

Lingzhi (Ganoderma lucidum).

Still in their early stage. Not yet mature to be harvested.

This one can be harvest already. The 'yellow' ring will indicate whether the Lingzhi can be harvest or not. Usually, they will harvest one that fully red in color.

Shiitake Mushroom.

Cloud ear fungus (Auricularia polytricha)
(Cendawan Telinga Kera)

This type of mushroom/fungus usually used in some Chinese drinks ingredient.


This is how they put the media bag. This method are used for Oyster Mushroom, Cloud Ear fungus and Lingzhi.

Since chemical cannot be used near to mushroom, they have to control insect by using insect trap. If they use chemical near the mushroom, the mushroom will be contaminated by the chemical since mushroom will absorb it. (End of part 2)

nick : I also surprise that they actually conduct this course. They said last time they only provide this course to their registered farmer. Yes, it is fun.

Kay : True, this can make money. But I still don't have any land to start this mushroom. :(
