Nothing gonna change my world...

I found this when I visit Flanegan B blog site and soon I found out that I know his dad. Hmm... What a small world.

Across The Universe by Rufus Wainright
Just listening to this song makes my mind traveled back to my younger days where I still active in Stella Maris Church, those band shows that I made (although it just for small occasion) and those whom I was close to. Those were the days, my friends.

In the year 1997 I was starting to be active in the church activity such as choir and Youth Ministry. That year is the first year that I started to play music. In that year also I've seen and know different people at different age.

In 1998, I already involved in some activity such as drama for Youth Ministry and also begin my duty as a musician in Choir Ministry. And all of this stopped abruptly on the year 2005.

Well, in that period, I had seen people who can walk the talk and those who just talk the talk. Those who know how to stab your back, those who know how to really exploits your talent/time/hard work so that they can call the work that you have done theirs (this is the reason why I left).

But what I really missed most are my band mates. I missed those ‘jam’ session that we had. Those non-stop session from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and continue from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.
And the next day performing at Sabah Golf and Country Club for La Salle Class of don’t-know-what-year School Reunion dinner. Singing Beatles number.... Ahh… Those were the days…

Alphonso Sabadun, Girly (my sister-in-law now), Richard Makulim, Josue Juin, Adrianne (elder sister to Nikki Palikat). Those days will always in my mind.

How I wish that I can say “Nothing Gonna Chance My World”.

Anyway I really believe on this one now: “Obladi Oblada Life Goes On”

And this clip conclude my post today. It's reflect my feeling now.

In My Life by The Beatles

p/s Would you forget those years that really shape you into what you are now?
