Before I read this articles, I already sense that dogs do have their own sense of humor. I have my own dog that ever make me laugh because she likes to play hide and seek with me. Not that I try to find or catch her, she will appear from nowhere then tap my feet then run around the house and back at me and tap my feet again (but she died 2 years ago :( ).
And my other dog (from the one which died long after giving birth to 3 pups) did of inherit his mom's sense of humor, like to tap my feet then making a smile face. :P
Mind you that my dog listen to my conversation. This morning I warn him not to go walking around the neighborhood (as soon as I open the gate to go to work, he will run past the gate) and he listen!

My cat love to do that too, sometimes she hides behind the curtain and when i walk past the curtain she will grab my leg and then run away!she always makes me laugh no matter how bad my day is.
I think most pet owners feel that their pets understand them. Indeed, my cat knows what I tell her too. Thank God she can't talk. Else, if she spills whatever secrets I've told her... :P
Yes, I agree on both of you... I also use to have a cat name Raska but also died.
